![]() ![]() ![]() He states that they killed Primrose’s father because he made enemies. Oren states that he has performed jobs for several noble houses looking for vengeance against others. She reflects that once she sees her vengeance done she has no reason to live. Primrose has had faith in her quest for vengeance since her father died. ![]() Her father taught her their house’s words, “Let faith be your shield.” This does not necessarily refer to religious faith, just faith in something. Meanwhile, Primrose reminisces about her father. Arianna helps Primrose sneak into the Obsidian Parlor, from which Oren runs his prostitution ring. Arianna is now a prostitute working for Oren, the Left Crow. ![]() She reunites with Arianna, who used to work for her father. She goes to Stillsnow in the Snowlands to find the man with the mark of the crow on his left arm. Primrose’s quest for revenge against her father’s murderers is underway. For support skills I left her with Second Wind for SP regen and gave her Elemental Augmentation which increased her elemental attack. She also got staves so she could smack things that are weak to nerds. Thus, she became a Light-and-Dark mage with party healing and offensive buffs. I mostly had Primrose secondary job as a Cleric. The main theme with the Chapter 2’s is the start of the journey with the Travelers getting initial success on their quests. Worth noting is that support skills can be equipped regardless of secondary job so I had all characters put skill points in a bunch of jobs to get easy-but-useful support skills.Ī cave near the water /MGtJyWGFrl You can also switch any time out of battle but I mostly would just stick the same secondary job on each character, e.g. They gain the ability to use their secondary job’s skills, equip that job’s weapons, and some job specific stat increases. Thus, the characters retain their talents but you can give them another character’s talents. Further, only one character out of your eight can have a specific secondary job at a time. So how will this work?Įach character can equip a secondary job but their primary job is always the same. But as we’ve covered, each character’s talents are important to their stories and motivations. While I like customizing characters there’s always a bit of a bummer in that fully customizable characters can’t have story-important abilities. I absolutely love the system that came out of this. Going to a shrine unlocks that person’s job as a secondary job for the others. In the Chapter 2 areas you find Shrines for each character. I was wondering what the game would do about character building considering I had almost all of everyone’s skills by the end of the Chapter 1’s. I also really like the second boss theme.Īs an example, here’s For Light and Decisive Battle II, the second boss theme preceded by Ophilia’s build-up. They’ll also let the lead-in theme go into the battle to make sure the transition is smooth. All eight of the themes gel well with the two boss themes, which are intermixed so you don’t get sick of one. I favor Cyrus’s Theme and Olberic’s Theme.Įach character also gets their own boss-lead-in music. With it being so character-centric each of the Travelers gets their own themes. I’ve really enjoyed what they did with the music in this game. ![]()
